Professor Kevin Hatch’s new book “Looking for Bruce Conner”

Binghamton University Professor Kevin Hatch is the subject for this month’s Discover-e Faculty Spotlights. Professor Hatch has recently published a distinguished study, Looking for Bruce Conner, a mid-century avant-garde filmmaker, photographer, and assemblage artist. Before he passed away in 2008, Hatch had a chance to talk to the elusive Conner who, contrary to his well known reclusiveness, sent him some of his personal archives.

Read more about Conner in this 2008 New York Times column. Find Looking for Bruce Conner in the Fine Art Collection stacks.
